Paige Ann Birthwork

Paige Ann

My path to birthwork began while living in Brooklyn, NY. Although not yet a mother myself, my fascination with birthwork sprang from a commitment to holistic well-being and a deep interest in women's advocacy work. Finding birthwork felt like a natural fit. I dove deep into birthwork and in 2017 earned my Birth Doula certification (CD(DONA)) through Dona International. I began my practice shortly thereafter and fell more in love with the birthwork community that quietly helped to nourish the women in my community.

Supported by my partner and an incredible doula, I welcomed my first daughter in 2018 via unplanned cesarean. When later I became pregnant with my second, the determination for a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) fueled my journey. Successfully achieving a VBAC and welcoming my second daughter became a powerful lesson in trusting my body. Personally navigating two distinctly different births only strengthened my desire to continue to learn and grow as a doula.

Now based in Central Jersey, I extend my support to women as far as NYC and Philadelphia. Recognizing the uniqueness of each client's journey, I strive to provide tailored support to each birthing person throughout the path to motherhood and into the fourth trimester.

The birth of a baby is not the culmination but rather the commencement of the journey.

Kind Words

“Paige was an invaluable support system for me and my husband. She was able to translate hospital protocol when we most needed it.” Margaux L.

“Paige was an absolute pleasure to work with! She tailored her program to meet my specific needs and was very supportive both during labor & postpartum. She was a God send when my husband’s leave was delayed, supporting me postpartum. Bonus, my other two young children adored her, and were very sad to see her go. Would recommend to anyone!” Ann S.

“Paige, we can’t thank you enough for all your support throughout this pregnancy. Your positive energy and presence during the birth helped us get everything we ever wanted.” Samantha A.
